Shrike Kayak

The Shrike is not our project, but our muse. We had a modest participation in it by translating and adding a few things to its building manual, but otherwise it is the creation of Nick and Christopher Crowhurst from CNC Kayaks. It is our muse as it inspired our Iris project on similar grounds. It is a serious, but friendly, sea-kayak, built using the stitch and glue method. The project is totally altruistic and free of charge and of course, quite popular with the amateur builders.
